Women entrepreneurs in India have come a long way. 

. The empowerment and autonomy of women  and the improvement of their social,political and health status has brought a lot of changes in the field of business.

There has been a lot of improvement  within these couple of decades. Indian society has changed drastically.

Today, women in India have been contributing to the Indian economy. It feels really proud to know that, those women who were dominated , who were fighting for their rights, who were treated inhumanely, now they are ruling the Economy of the country.

These changes have been much appreciated by all the Indian people.

There was a time when being an entrepreneur was only the job of men. Now  the women entrepreneur is in a boom. Though the women entered little late in the game, they have been leading the startup very well. Even women who don't have time to step  out of the house  are doing their business online, and they are earning enough.

Now, as the whole scenario has changed, women are taking the lead to world wide popular brands. We have lots of inspiring women who set a good example in the history of India. These are the women who will be remembered by the whole upcoming generation. Some of the example of the great women who has contributed a lot are mentioned below in a brief way,

SET OF GEMS;

  1. Vandana Luthara : 

She is an indian business woman, and has been working as a chairperson of the beauty and wellness sector. She has started a company called VLCC which has  a very popular beauty brand and people are loving her product. She was even awarded with Padma shree award by Indian Prime Minister. Now, she has inclined towards  social service providing education scholarships to those who are unprivileged and physically challenged

  1. Indra nooyi:

 Indira Nooyi is a former CEO of Pepsi Co. and now has joined the Amazon board of directors.  She started working at Pepsi co., and later on she led the company as a CEO from 2006-2018. Now she is a  board of director of Amazon .

  1. Ritu kumar:

She is an Indian fashion designer who started her career in a small city of India but now she is currently operating her business in the foreign cities, France and New York. She has been awarded the Padma shree award in 2019, by Indian government.

CONCLUSION:

They are just the few in the list. There are a lot of other women who have been creating their pathway to success. They are changing the  stereotype ,where the business sector was largely dominated by men. They have been working day and night to make their dream come true. Let's support all the women who are trying to step out of the cocoon .
